THE SAVINGS NOTEBOOK

About the current DSW offers.

Compare 1 deal for DSW.

Check your VIP balance before comparing shoe prices

DSW VIP keeps available Rewards in your account, where you can choose to apply them during checkout. Sign in before comparing your final price with another shoe store. A public promotion and your personal Rewards balance are different savings tools; inspect the resulting order total rather than expecting an account benefit to appear as a public code.

Keep the offer's shopping channel in mind

DSW distributes offers through email, its website and stores. An emailed offer may include an online code and a separate barcode for store checkout. Match the instructions to where you will buy the shoes, and read that offer's eligibility before making a trip or building an online cart around it.

Decide whether you need a refund or a size exchange

DSW's policy distinguishes mailed refunds from exchanges: a return-label charge can reduce a mailed refund, while eligible same-item size or color exchanges are free. In-store returns are another option. Keep shoes unworn, save the box and receipt, and look for a final-sale label before ordering an unfamiliar fit.

02

How to use these offers.

01

Choose an eligible offer.

Check any listed minimum purchase, eligible products and customer requirements. Open Details when available for more conditions.

02

Follow the offer instructions.

Select “Copy & Shop” to copy a promo code and open the store, or “Shop Deal” to visit a promotion. If copying is blocked, use “Copy code” on the offer or copy the displayed code manually. Email signup offers use “Get Offer” and require signup on the store’s website to receive a personal code.

03

Confirm the actual saving.

Apply your code before paying. Check the discount and shipping charges in the order total.

If an offer does not apply.

Compare your order with the offer’s listed products, minimum purchase and account requirements. If the details appear wrong, choose “Report a problem” on the offer.

How we check offers →

Shopping at DSW: common questions.

How do I use DSW VIP Rewards online?

Sign in to the VIP account holding your Rewards and apply the available amount during checkout. In a DSW store, provide your membership number so the associate can access your account.

Can I join DSW VIP without applying for a credit card?

DSW describes VIP as a free loyalty program that you can join to receive member offers and earn Rewards. Joining that program is separate from a payment-card application.

Can I exchange DSW shoes for a completely different style?

The exchange policy covers the same item in a different size or color. For a different style, follow the return process and place a new order, checking the new item's price and offer eligibility.

Is mailing a DSW return the same cost as taking it to a store?

No. DSW lists free in-store returns and a fee for using its prepaid mail-return label. Compare the available return methods before choosing one, since a label charge reduces the refund.

Are clearance shoes automatically returnable at DSW?

Inspect the item's designation. DSW excludes merchandise marked Final Sale from its ordinary return policy. Keep qualifying shoes unworn and retain the receipt and packaging while you decide whether the fit works.
